About NCFO

Health Care   |   Allied Industrial   |   Public Sector   |   Railroads

NCFO represents workers in a vast array of occupations, including skilled and unskilled trades, 911 operators, police emergency complaint writers, clerical, custodial, food service, power plant equipment operators, nurse assistants, computer operators, lab technicians, heavy equipment operators, railroad shop laborers, utility men, oilers, foremen, supervisory, technical, and more.

NCFO has always been proud of the inclusive character of its membership. We represent a diverse membership of men and women in white collar, blue collar and supervisory bargaining units.

"We have members who drive children to school; other members provide lunches and warm, clean classrooms. There are NCFO members who make pumps, others who run pump stations. There are members who will drive you across town on a bus and others making sure there's fuel in the train that takes you across the country. We are truly a cradle to grave union - with members assisting in the delivery of babies - others digging those final resting places for when the journey of life is over. The incredible diversity of this Conference is one of its greatest strengths."- George J. Francisco, Jr. addressing the 100th Anniversary Convention of the NCFO.
